Decisions, Decisions

Hi, my name is Poli Rizco and I am thrilled to be part of the Krazy Kreations Design Team. When I started buying kits, I went for the flash – Copic Markers on glitter paper. Then I fell in love with Zig Clear Color Pens. I agonized for a couple of months then decided to sign up for the monthly watercolor kit.
My first kit arrived in February. I was super excited to see it was coffee – yum! Here is the watercolor version. I used Zig Clear Color Pens and Authentique paper. I stuck pretty close to the wonderful instructions included in the kit. The specific colous are: 029 Geranium, 021 Light Carmine, 075 Brick Beige, 900 Warm Grey, 091 Light Grey & 065 Mid Brown.
Because I can’t resist a bit of glitz, I did use clear Wink of Stella on the band of the ‘To-Go’ Cup.
I was really pleased with the project in watercolor, but last month I took my extra stickers and paper and decided to play with the same project in Copic Markers. Here is the result.
Watercolor will always be my favorite, but I think the Copic version is cool. Here’s a close-up of the ‘To Go’ cup. You can see that the color is much richer.
For this project I used a Flip it die cut and I put a Starbucks gift card on the other side. I love to send out gift cards to my staff and I think this is a fun way to do it. More Krazy Kreations coffee stickers are on my wish list!
I hope this inspires you to make two versions of the same project. Please post them so we can see what you can do. By the way, I just signed up for the monthly Copic kit. I just can’t get enough Krazy Kreations!!
