I'm so excited to post our very first Design Team Challenge.  The Team did an outstanding job and we hope you will be inspired by their creativity.  The Challenge was to come up with a gift or "goodie" package for the upcoming holidays.  We excluded Christmas so we could concentrate on that later this fall.  Pam even gave us a great way to use different colored glitter with the outline stickers.  We hope you enjoy these great ideas!

Our family celebrates Thanksgiving twice! In the morning we gather at my brother’s house. Of the four children in our family, he is the only one who is married & has children. The boys are 19, 17, 14 & 3. My sister-in-law, a fabulous cook, does a Thanksgiving Brunch. Later, when the nephews head to their other grandparents, I head to mom & dad’s for lasagna, cards and a Blu-ray or two.

I try to always have a treat for the boys, so this year I will do these tags with a bag of their favorite sweets. Now you know why they are always happy to see me!

These treat boxes are SO MUCH fun to make. And the Krazy Kreations products are just the thing to use as adornments. Each box holds 6 Hershey’s Nuggets, perfectly. When you cover the chocolate it makes it look so fancy and fun. I had so much fun making them that I couldn’t stop with just one.

As I am preparing for my move from Maryland to New Jersey, it's been made apparent that the end of summer is typically when most people move to new places. For me, it's for a new job and being closer to the beach, and for many others, it may be there start to a new year - when school starts.

I thought to myself how nice it would be to move to a completely new place and have neighbors who welcome you with open arms. Maybe they even bring over some fresh baked goodies or just stop by to say "hello" and introduce themselves. This got me thinking about welcome home baskets and tags to hang from them. For this project, I decided to create a "Welcome Home" Fall-themed gift tag that can be used on any sort of large gift or basket.

Instead of coloring in my pumpkins or doing some paper piecing with patterned paper, I wanted to give them color using the glitter! I pulled a scrap piece of white cardstock and adhered some Scor-Tape in a block shape onto my white cardstock. I then placed the small pumpkin outline sticker right over the Scor-Tape and then cut out the pumpkin. I took some of the release paper from the Scor-Tape to lay over the bottom part of the pumpkin that way the Bronze glitter I would use for the stem of the Pumpkin would not get onto what should be the orange part of the pumpkin.

What I love about this glitter is that it leaves such a nice, smooth finish and once burnished into the adhesive, it will not flake off like most glitter since it is Micro Fine Glitter.

I love to decorate my Table for every Holiday/Occasion. I thought it would be fun to come up with a place card/goodie box for each person for Thanksgiving dinner. I used the outline stickers to paper piece the fall wheel barrel and pumpkins. I loved the turkey with the Thanksgiving sentiment stickers from Krazy Kreations so I had to be sure to use it too.
