Holiday Tree Card

I enjoy receiving handmade Holiday Cards as much as I like making them to send to special friends and family. I love the Krazy Kreations Holiday Tree Outline Stickers not only for Christmas Cards, but they can also be colored and used for Spring and Fall Trees, Patriotic Trees for the Fourth of July and spooky Trees for Halloween.
To make the glitter paper simply take a piece of 6x6 Scor-Tape, peel off the brown backing and adhere the sticky side directly on top of a 6x6 piece of white cardstock.. Burnish with your fingers and then peel up the protective covering to expose the sticky adhesive, which you will then coat with Elizabeth Craft Silk Microfine Glitter. Once your white cardstock is coated with glitter be sure to burnish the glitter with your fingers to make sure the glitter is secure.
To make the Holiday Tree, peel off the sticker and adhere to the glitter paper and burnish the sticker with your finger to make sure it is secure before you color.
To color one of the large Holiday Trees, I colored the entire Tree with Copic Marer YG01, then I added G99 to outside edges of the tree. Then I went back with the YG01 marker and blended the dark color into the light color. Be sure to tap off your YG01 marker to remove the darker color you just shaded. You will want to repeat this with one smaller Holiday Tree using the Copic YG01 and G99 markers. Once you have colored your Holiday Trees you will want to cut them out.
To make the 5 ¼ card cut a piece of kraft cardstock 5 x 5 and adhere to the center of the card front, next cut a piece of green cardstock 1 3/8 x 4 ¾ and then emboss (lots of dots) and adhere to the right front of the card. Cut a piece of pattern paper 3 ¼ x 4 ¾, cut a length of red bakers twine and wrap around bottom of pattern paper and adhere to the left front of the card. Cut a 3 inch red cardstock scallop and a 2 ½ inch white circle. Emboss the white circle (lots of dots) and adhere white circle to the center of the red scallop. Using pop dots and adhere scallop piece to upper center of card front. Take you two colored Holiday Trees and using pop dots adhere the trees to center of the white circle. Cut an oval scallop and adhere to bottom right of card and add a sentiment of your choice. Finish cards by adding bead accents to the top left of the card.
