It's Fall Ya'll!!
Posted by Joyce Schmidt on 27th Oct 2017
I was browsing the Krazy Kreations stickers and saw the wheelbarrow with pumpkins and immediately saw this card in my mind. It reminded me of the fall festival I used to attend when I was in Germany as a child. There were hayrides, wheelbarrow races and pumpkin tosses. Good memories for me, hope you enjoy my card.
Here are the instructions for this card
- I started with adhering the wheelbarrow sticker and pumpkins to the Krazy Kreations warm glitter paper (since its fall). I colored it with Copic markers and fussy cut all the pieces. The creative fun began!
- Next, I looked through the beautiful Authentique paper pad called “Harvest”. It has beautiful papers and plenty of elements that can be used for other fall projects. I picked a few patterns I thought would go well.
- I used an espresso brown card base so that the Authentique paper would be the most noticeable. I layered a piece 5 ¼” x 4” on my card base, then a strip of another coordinating pattern piece that measured 5 ½”x 2”. I wrapped a piece of fall ribbon from my stash across the strip.
- I used a die cut to create the background shape from the paper pad as well. I die cut the fence and grass. I stamped and cut the “gratitude” banner to give it a little balance.
- I used foam tape to pop up the elements making it appear that the pumpkins and grass are sitting in front of the wheelbarrow.
- Lastly, I added some fall colored rhinestones to finish off the fall look!
This card is a beautiful, fun, and EASY way to let someone know you care. I hope you enjoy my card and enjoy making it as much as I did. The supplies I used are listed below. Wishing you lots of joy, and take a minute to be creative!
