I’m so excited to launch this new series of Blog Posts from Krazy Kreations. We have lots of great projects in store from the new Design Team. I am Annette Crawford and I am the coordinator of the Design Team. Everyone is very inspired and ready to show their latest projects.
I have been a Krazy Kreations “Groupie” for about 6 years and I have been lucky enough to work in the Krazy Kreations booth demonstrating their wonderful products. I look forward to sharing my creativity with all of you!
I was so happy to receive one of the Krazy Kreations new Chipboard Dolls in my Design Team Packet. I love the Authentique paper and how beautiful the color coordination is. I knew immediately that I wanted to do a paper piecing project.
The first thing I did was make a copy of the doll on my printer. Be sure to make the copy on cardstock so it is easier to cut apart and trace onto the patterned paper. You will want to trace the largest pieces first then cut and trace the smaller pieces to then layer on. This gives a nice dimension to the doll. After the doll was completed I went back and added black ink to all of the edges to give a nice outline. I then colored the face with Copic E00 and added a little R20 to the cheeks for color. I colored the hair with E21. I covered the Chipboard Tag with more Authentique paper and mounted the doll with foam squares.
The stacking flower black outline stickers were a perfect embellishment for the tag. I also included a little bling for some sparkle. I hope you are inspired to play with some paper dolls too!
